About
Founded in 2009, Adelaide Chinese Dance Academy is the first officially registered Chinese dance school in Adelaide. We are dedicated to providing high quality dance education in a friendly environment where students can learn and appreciate Chinese dance, music, language and culture. The school offers Chinese classical and folk dance training to students from age 2 to adult. Over the years, the school has performed in various events around Adelaide including the Governor's Multicultural Awards ceremony, OzAsia Moon Lantern Festival, Multicultural Festival and Chinatown Chinese New Year Street Party.
Principal: Ms Amy Lei
Ms Lei graduated from Beijing Dance Academy in China. She is a certified teacher for the Chinese Dance Grading Examination offered by the Beijing Dance Academy. Having had over a decade of experience teaching Chinese dance, she had also worked in Beijing as a choreographer for the Children’s channel of China Central Television. She has received awards for choreography in children's dance in China.
